SDCOE COVID-19 Prevention Program
Cal/OSHA’s emergency temporary standards (adopted November 30, 2020) require nearly all California employers to implement a COVID-19 Prevention Program or ensure its elements are included in an existing Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). This plan included below applies to all SDCOE schools and worksites.
Plan for the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services
Local educational agencies (LEAs) receiving Elementary and Secondary School Relief funds (ESSER III) are required by the American Rescue Plan to submit a Plan for the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services, and post this plan no later than six months after receiving the ESSER III funds.

SDCOE School Reopening Plans
SDCOE schools have been preparing for months to reopen their school facilities for in-person instruction, with the health and safety of students, staff, and families at the center of every decision.
