Administrator Support

Administrators provide leadership and guidance to support the continuity of learning

Administrators provide leadership, resources and guidance to support educators, students, and parents & guardians to productive learning environments in which students can learn, whether in or outside of a classroom. Administrators plan and communicate to faculty, students, families, or other users availability of, or changes to, distance learning organizational policies, programs, and procedures. It is recommended that school districts review and update contingency plans for the possibility of extended school closures. It is advised for administrators to use an equity and empathy lens when making these contingency plans. School districts must ensure equal access to education for all students. There are important decisions to make to ensure equity and access to learning for all. These compiled resources, tips, and tools are intended to support the ways in which administrators can plan and support a continuity of learning  through virtual means.
